At the moment i am using ReptiBark as my substrate, it works fine, however, henry loves to burrow but finds it hard to do so in this. I was thinking of changing it to aspen bedding as it looks lighter (weight) and so would be easier to get under. Also it think it looks better because its lighter (colour) than reptibark which is dark and dirty. Any views? |

The repitle shop up the road from us uses corn cob of various sizes. When we went up last one of the corns was completely buried in it with his head sticking out for a look around |

I use wood chippings but put shredded paper in one corner of the viv as Birch likes burrowing. We've got a shredded in the 'office' for confidential stuff so I just use the paper out of that. |

I use large bark chips mainly, gonna have a section of Duplo bricks in a day or 2 as well.
Gonna be an adventure playground for them. |

order online you can get good deals on aspen cheap. this is perfect for corns & for them to burrow in. wouldn't recomend corn cob as when it gets a little damp or wet it goes mouldy. |

I did wonder why I'd never seen anyone mention it. At the moment mine are both on paper towel so it's interesting to see what other people use. |

i use Eco Earth which is coconut fiber. Mystery loves it and burrows often. bit of a pain having to soak it in water to expand and does get messy on the old floors but a hand hoover makes life easier |
