i have only had my corn for a few weeks, and when i try and pick him up he sometimes tries to scoot away, but just pick him up with both hands and try and support him, and hopefully after holding him for a minute or so, he should relax more.

That is what i do anyways, and i hope that is what i am supposed to do.

It seems that most corns do this. When i lift their hides up to get mine out they will come up to my hand for a little look then slowly move to their other hide, but as soon as i try to lift them up they are like Jenson Button of the starting line.

I just scoop em out.

they wont play that game with me; just grab little git then hold him close to me with two hands outside the viv...

I had to countless times wrestle them out their plants . its like "C'mon snakey.. handle time that is 101% obligatory no slithering around.."

Hi,
I've had same probs but i have found due to what i've experienced with my three corns is that it could be to do with the temp because if its to hot there really active and nasty which is waht happened to my ghost corn Heidie and we found it was to do with the temp!
Try checking the temp on the ground NOT the air temp so put the thermonitor on the groung where you have put the heat source also if you have thier hied right where the heat source is that could also make them more active and jumpy!
Hope this helps!

I always have problems if I try and take Rizla out of his viv.
What i do now is open the door and let him come out to me when he's ready.(Usually about a minute)
Then hold my hands out to support him and he just slides right out.
