Seal the room if you can, keep all doors closed. If you dont have carpet, pour some flour on the floor and it will leave a trail where he has gone. Good luck. |

They have a habit of getting into small nooks. Check everywhere you can.
We've had members with missing snakes on here turn up in weird places: inside the washing machine, inside stereo speakers.
Keep the bottle traps going, and sprinkle flour in doorways and edges of some skirting boards. Wait until the morning and check the flour for tracks.
I wouldn't worry to much about snakes escaping, it happens to most people at some point. |

Difficult to say to be honest.
I've had escapes a few times now, one was found inside a computer tower, the rest were caught within minutes on the hallway or similar. Trio was gone for 2 weeks, and was found in upstairs flat.
We've had people on here finding them within a few hours, to months.
Out of all the escapes, I think about 95-98% of them turned up again.
Place the bottle trap along the edge of the room, because they prefer security, they'll more than likely be along skirting boards as opposed to the middle of the room.
Check in any slightly warmer areas.
Back of fridges/freezers etc. Piles of washing, anywhere that could be nice and small, but a bit warmer.

i hope you find him, make sure you check every nook and cranny.
I heard that they like to hide in radiators sometimes, because it was warm. |

Don't forget to check up high too. People have found missing snakes wrapped round curtain poles!!
Good luck, I'm sure he'll turn up soon. As already said, 95% of missing snakes are found again, even if its after weeks.
Fingers crossed for you.. |

FINALLY!!!!! MY BRIGHT IDEA WENT WRONG BUT WORKED. I GOT MY FEMALE OUT (AS THEY ARE BREEDING PAIR) AND WATCH WHERE SHE WENT. UNFORTUNATLY SHE DISSAPEARED TROUGHT A SMALL HOLE UNDERNEATH MY CUPBOARD. THOUGHT I LOPST HER WHEN I REALISED THE FLOOR TO THE CUPBOARD LIFTED UP AND WHEN I LOOKED UNDERNEATH THE CUPBOARD THEY WERE BOTH THERE CURLED UP TOGETHER.
IM SORRY BUT THIS JUST PROVES (TO ME) THAT THESE TWO CORNS "LOVE EACHOTHER" AS SHE WENT STRAIGHT TO WHERE THE MALE WAS HIDING AND CURLED UP WITH HIM. IF ANYONE CARES TO DISPROVE ME THEN PLEASE FEEL FREE. THERE MIGHT ME A SCIENTIFIC REASON FOR THIS BUT UNTIL IM TOLD OTHERWISE I BELIEVE CORNS WANT TO BE TOGETHER.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP. |

Well done for getting him back.
They dont love each other though, it could have been the most attractive place for the snake to go, or she could smell him and wanted to breed. |
