i am so sorry to hear that mate i really am not lookin forward to when i find one of mine passed away. im having a hard time at the minute and my snakes are the only thing that keeps me going.
could it be anything to do with the weather as my viv rocketed from 90c to 110c but i really hanet got a clue |

Thanks again everyone..
I have been offered another one from my step mum including the amel for my birthday, not cancelling him as already got a delivery date.
I did clean out and bleech his old 30x30x30 viv but will wait a bit I think before getting something else, time to greif i think but not sure if it will be another corn... |

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss Hilzi, such a shame that he's gone, especially after all the hard work you put in to make sure he was happy.
It sucks loosing pets, I know cause I've lost so many, including my fav guinea pig last week :( Hope you feel better soon sweety x |

Thank you PunkAsF82. I've had 2 ginues' both got to 8 years old. One died and we gave the other one to someone with loads, she'd only die lonely. we sought it best for her. |

i just want to say thank you for your post to this thread. that post really tuched me, and it is not often i read something that brings back such emotion. today would have been his feeding day and even though we havon't had him not long, now this has happened it feels like we've had him an iternity.
i feel so guilty asking for the door to be shut, so i could prevent insects entering my room.
i know i'll have memories, feeling the skin, letting the snake go in my hair, but my god, i'm really going to miss him. i just wish i'd let the door be open just a little bit longer, just 2 precious hours |

dont beat your self up mate its not your fault and im sure tom dont blame you. poop happens in life and we just have to get through it. its hard becoz you dont know how storm passed away wether it was the heat or wether it was a virus...anything could of caused it. my grandad told me something the other day coz i suffer from depression atm but i think is appropriate

the more you dwell on certain things as in this case you blaming yourself for storm then the more likly you are to forget about happiness.
hope things work out for you 2 and i hope the amel will take SOME of the pain away.

Thanks guys, dan no sweat these things happens. If it was a virus or diseasem having the door open would not have made a difference.
Just one of those things, it's happened now.
You can let the new snake on friday go through your hair mate Only after a week, he needs to settle in.
