Here are the first pictures of Nagini's new missus Hypanthia!
Just picked her up from Derbyshire and brought her up to be a Yorkshire snake now. She's about 2.5 years old, 4 ft long and really cute. She needs feeding up as she's underweight, because she's already had a clutch this year apparently. In quarantine upstairs so will get more pictures in a week or so when she's more settled. What do you think?
The good news is Nagini has been probed today too and he's definitely male. I think it was love at first sight because Hypanthia was latched on to the previous owners thumb when we got there and she didn't let go even after 5 minutes under water. Nagini was well impressed

It kind of is a huge giveaway, Kaz's signature colour is purple xD
That's a lovely king Lewy, has she been "aquainted" with Nagini yet?
There's been corny love in the lewerella househould (see what I did there ) maybe some kingy love?

She's not been 'fruity' with the big fella yet, as she's in quarentine and under weight anyway. Going to wait until next year before she gets some Nagini loving.
I was looking for an 'H' name for a albino horned frog we nearly bought. I wanted something like the hefty Henrietta or the hungry Horace, but found Hypanthia and thought it was interesting. Knew it wasn't a frog name though, or even a corn for that matter, but it definitely suits a Mexi black. It sounds sinister  |

It's a Mexican Black King Snake.
Don't get one, they are all crazy I thought it was just Nagini who was mad until Lee and Jono got wild ones too. Then we got Hypanthia, who's definitely a nutjob, so it's pretty certain all Mexi blacks are insane in the membrane |

No, kings are feisty but they don't hurt when they bite. I've only been gotten by Nagini though and he let go straight away. I think if Hypanthia gets me she'll hang on which might hurt 10 times more.
I don't think Lee and Jono have been bitten by theirs though. Think they just give them a fright now and then, but that's king for you |
