Hi, my female snake layed eggs bout 3 weeks ago, she layed 6 eggs, one of them was bad so ive took it out 2 weeks ago, now 4 of them are starting to shrivel? am i doing something wrong? they are in a small box with that damp goldy coloured mossy stuff, and the top is covered with cling film so it stays damp,

not neccessarily too moist but definitely too little air!

how exactly are you incubating the eggs? heat source? heat control? search on here under 'incubator' and you should find some pics of what people are using

I thought they shrivelled if they didn't get enough moisture or were about to hatch. If they've only been in 3 weeks then they are not ready to hatch yet, so what's the humidity like?

Im not sure if they were fertile, it is damp enough, might be a little too damp, i have cut half of the cling film off so more air gets into it,

Right even more bad news, now 3 eggs have fluffy mold on them so they are obviously bad eggs, but the egg between two of the bad eggs is looking perfect, but the bad eggs are stuck to it,

you can treat the mould with athlete's foot powder, like Mycil, they could still be ok.

you shouldn't really need to, if the eggs are clumped together you can do more harm than good moving them and trying to separate them.
