hi and great site.
i have had my snake for 10 years about and he has been fine.
but recient he has been behaving irratic .he has started laying on his back with his moth open wide and tencing up to the point where his ribs show. i thought he was dead yesterday as he wouldnt move but is back to life today.
he also done something ive never seen before and what looked like bit himsels and started swirling round and round very fast.
almost as if he thought he was dinner.
please help i love him my 2 kids love him.he has been out to the local school, and the whole street would miss him loads if anything happens.
i realise that he dont have long as his 10/11 years old.he is about 5 foot to.

laying on his back with his moth open wide

that dont't sound to good mate
if i was you i would take him to the vets
the reason why im saying that is
when then die they go on there backs with there mouth open so peeps say on here.

it could be he had a fit of some sort .so it could be nothing or somthing.
get him checked out thats what i would do

later and good luck

Take him to the vets, sorry to be frank but its likly that he will be put down. What are you heating him with? It sounds like a neurological problem.
