ok i have had me lil one 2 weeks this friday, but as of yet still havent managed to be able to pick her up out of the faun, i remove everything + entire faun lid and try to keep it all calm n quiet, managed to support her body last friday when she came out for her feed under her own steam, but since then nothing. which is the best time of day to try handling as i dont wanna stress her out chasing her about the faun.. |

If she's racing around her faun, thats a bit like the bitey behaviour. They think by rattling/legging it (pun intended)/striking is going to get you to leave them alone.
The wait before handle seems fine, I would let her come out on her own for a bit. Till she's more confident with your presence then, when your'e ready, and theres no more snakey olympic antics, gently peep to find her, place your hand near her, then go for the pick up
Worth the wait to see what other people think though. |

i have a peep to find her each day as i change the water n poop check,so i lift the hide to double check where she is,so she knows im in n out of the faun every so often. Did try the hand near her the other week but she just legged it , i have run my fingers along her body a few times n wasnt too bad but wasnt fantastic either. |

Get her out in the evenings, as they're nocturnal :) Mines grouchy during the day, but happy as larry at night ^^
Try as hillzi said, and see if he comes out on his own. If I havnt announced my presence (put my hand in front of his face) and try to stroke him, he'll run away very quickly. Just be calm, and slow.. and try and lift him out once he begins to climb out ^^ |
