HI JUST HERE FOR QUICK HELP.
MY CORN SNAKE IS ABOUT 11YEARS OLD AND SHE HASNT EATEN FOR THE LAST TWO MONTHS PLUS. SHE'S SHEDDED TWICE IN THIS TIME. ADVICE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN WHICH HASNT WORKED IS PIERCE MOUSES BRAIN AND CHANGE SCENT BY DIPPING IN TUNA JUICE. THOUGHT SHE MIGHT BE IN MATING SEASON BUT SURELY SHE WOULD EAT BY NOW. SHE HAS DONE IT BEFORE BUT NOT THIS LONG.
ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED.

i would try her on somthing small like a fuzzy if she don't take it
i would take her to the vet and get her checked out to be on the safe side

| tried her on the small mice. have no idea on how to open her mouth. she has no interest in the mouse at all its like she's afraid of it. |

i would def take it to the vets to get it looked at.
let us no if you take her and how you get on
i would be intrested on the out come

if she is healthy and not losing weight i would try her on something smaller than she normally has....
did she shed ok?
if she does not seem right then agree take her to the vets... |

| she sheded in one piece both times as usual. havin problem finding a vet that deals with snakes close by. closest i can find is 1hr and 40mins away and that vet away till next tuesday. search the net and had no luck. any one know of a reptile vet in shropshire??? |

| Hi Hayley, Im Paul. I have a similar problem with my 5 year old male. If you find a solutiuon would you let me know and i will do likewise. My corn has had a barium meal today, so next week he will have another xray to see if the barium has gone through him or not. |

how often are you offering her food?
also have you tried offering her something smaller than she would normally take just to see if she will get going.. |

If you get to keep the x-rays, you'll have to do a scan and post them, Barium meal X-rays are superb. |

| Hey. snake been to the vet. was told what a beautiful healthy corn snake she is. i just have a very Horny snake. she's had a vitamin injection just to get her apetite back. will let you know if injection worked. thankyou Dilly415 i used the vet you found me. thanks every1 for your help!!! |

| my dad tried her for me yesterday, no luck. i tried her today success... then she spat it out just when it was nearly in. tried her again and wasn't interested. will try her later in the week. nearly 3months no food. if she doesnt eat in the next two weeks she gota go bak to vet. |

i would't worry to much at the min my old king snake went 8 months with out eating and it was still in realy good nick, not under wieght or nothing
why not try putting a couple of pinkies or fuzzy's on plate or somthing and leave her to it over night,or try putting a sheet over the frount of your viv for a couple of hours
all so see if you can feel any bumps under your snake
the vets missed mine the 1st time round .
i take it your temps are all ok.
later and i hope your snake will start eating for you soon
ps if you leave some mice in over night i would put em in the cold end.
