My step daughter went into labour at 5 this morning, and at 6.15 this morning produced me another grandchild.
That's me got 4 grandchildren now, and one more due in 2 weeks.

quick edit.
Just realised that with 3 biological kids, 3 step-kids, 4 grandchildren with another due soon, I'm gonna be skint at christmas.

Oh well, they can all have a snake skin.

Ah bless Babies!! Congratulations Grampa Kehhlyr. (And you'd have been skint at christmas anyway, couple more bambinos won't make that much difference.)

This has been asked before, hence the 'Grandad'.
I'm technically step-grandad, but you never hear kids calling anyone that.

Sad, but relevant joke time. (if anyone understands it)

I went into a shop this morning to buy her a baby monitor, but they didn't have one. I might have to get her a baby Iguana instead.

My step-kids are: 24, 21, 15. The step-grandchildren are: 5,4, nearly 1 and the last is 7 hours old.
My kids are: 11, 8, 5.

It's the 24 year old I feel most sorry for, we're really good mates, and have been for about 10 years or so. Hence how I met my missus.

No you don't! I was only in labour with my youngest for about half an hour, she was nearly born in the car. (I'm very sorry but i was not having my baby in the front seat of a Renault Espace) Managed to get to the hospital just in time. Horrible when it's too quick, had her at 1:36, 8 minutes after getting to the hospital - didn't twig till 6:30 what had actually happened! Although there was good points, i was home by 8:30 in time for breakfast so no hospital food.

It weird actually, I've noticed that loads of places only have a small selection of stuff for boys, but tonnes for girls.
Or could the reason for that be because a bloke knows what he wants, goes straight to a shop, gets it and is home before the adverts are finished. Whereas Girls need a full on day trip to pick the right pair of socks.

lucky you! i was in for a week, and the only reason they let me go home was because i said there were animal welfare issues if i didn't get home - my snakes needing feeding!!
