snakes are coldblooded so they need a warm place to digest food, if not food wont be digested and it might lead to infection. and yep it is normal for them to hide for a while after feeding, there is nothing to worry about

i have noticed even with my probe touching the floor to read temp..it doesnt come on as often during the night as it does during the day... temp reading sits at about 22.4 degrees c as lowest temp is 22.1 b4 it decides to kick in again. but during the day its on n off every 15 mins or so... why is this??? she is active tonight so im guessing shes hunting for food again.
