Hi there i have a 9 month female amel corn snake and i am just wondering how old she will be before she becomes sexually mature? i have heard that females should be 3 years old before mating and at least 300 in weight. does it take 3 years for a female to mature?

any feed back would be much abliged.

i dont no when they become mature but i no the reason they should be 3 years and 300 g is so they will be able to pass the eggs and not get egg bound

Well, the youngest recorded human birth is at 5 years old..

But for snakes, it's usually the rule of 3 before you start trying to breed.
3 years old, 3 foot long & 300g
