Handled my little baby today and noticed its head is all shiney and theres a rainbow tint to it. Is this the start of shed? Eye colour hasnt changed visibly.

Unless its a grey foggy look its not shed. Was the snake in natural sun light? Its the reflection of the light. It never seems to show up with the light from a light bulb.

Ahh okay, well the head is very shiney, not sure it was cloudy though. Damn, thought I was gonna see my first shed. :(

You will. mine's head's always goes shiny,, then few days we go really milky cloudy eyes then shed :) Time will tell.

Yet I noticed that mine has a shiny head just after shedding. But he will shed if his eyes go bluey cloudy, which I'm sure he will
