omg was just doing the norm checking the aspen for poo picked my female up and god an egg popped out so a paniced had no ide wat todo and was not ready for this so foned my gd m8 mike whos care 2 has just laid and luckely he had an incubator spare so got that all setup now and unfortunatly had to move her coz she laid 10 eggs directly on the heat nat so put her and wat eggs she laid on some wet kitchen roll and now im leaving her 2 it. wat a mouthfull lol. so tomo morning gonna get the eggs out and put them in the incubator wish me luck |

i have had her bout 10 days i got her off my m8 mike she was in with a great plain but he wasnt sure if she was gravid but since i have had her shes been in with my hurricane and there have been at it all the time even yesterday for 5 hours and then today she laid but there r def the great plains eggs if u know wat i mean but any help on wat todo would be gr8 |

Keep the eggs around 28-29*C, but im not sure on the best way to do that. Good luck with them  |

thanks m8 i have 2 friend that breed corns so shouldnt be any probs i hope just hope she lays ok coz i had 2 move her and the eggs but im sure they will be fine will keep u all up 2 date tho |

Make sure you don't rotate the eggs. This could kill the developing hatchlings. They need to be incubated in the same position they were laid in ideally. |

are they robust and round. coz thats ther key to a fertilised egg, an unfertilised will look very skinny lol just thought i let u know coz i have read in the past of people who try and incubate "slug" eggs thinking theres a hatchling inside hahahaha |

she stil has eggs in her, we bathed her and gave her a very gentle massage, we did not want to disturb her but want to try and help her, if she does not lay the rest in the next few days its a long trip to the vets for her im afraid  |

well its not looking gd she laid 14 eggs and is holding the rest bk. she went 2 the vets on saturday and had her injections she laid anova 1 but stil nothing so its bk to the vets next sat if she doesnt lay :( |

thanks for keeping us updated, did they give her an oxytocin injection last time? that usually does the trick, have you provided her with a few large damp warm hides to try and entice her to lay the rest? |

yer thats wat he gave her and she has 2 hides but she is allways in the 1 with moss and she has just laid anova 1 so i hope she will lay the rest soon will keep u up 2 date |

hey, still no more eggs unfortunatly, we cant afford for her to have an operation so is shes not laid by tommorrow we have a friend who is willing to take her on and pay forop for her, its best for her really |

gd news she has now laid the last 5 eggs today but they have been binned as they r not pretty but i hope she will be fine now and maybe but not sure will try her again next yr but we will see dont wanna go through that again it scared me as didnt wanna loose her thanks dan |
