heys guys

about three weeks ago i put my corn into her new viv from her old starter viv. all she seems to do now is stay under her hide in the cold end. whereas before she would be active in the evenings and stay out for long periods of time. is there anything to worry about?

Im guessing the viv size has increased?
She may be a little nervous of her new surroundings.

IS she feeding ok?

I wouldn't worry too much. He's just settling in. When I moved my corn up to a bigger viv she sulked for 2 months!

Just remember that they are very territorial animals and this new viv doesn't smell like his yet. He's bond to be a bit nervous until he recognises his new viv as home.

Just keep an eye on him and he'll probably be back to normal in a few weeks

yeah i wouldnt worry too much, just try and had more entertaining things to make her feel more comfortable and it may tempt her out. but my corn snake was in her hide for months before exploring the vivarium with confidence and now she doesnt even use the hide anymore lol

oh i forgot to mention, coconuts are very inviting to get snakes to come out for a while. simply drain out the milk and make lots of holes in them, then they can have fun tiwsting in and out of the holes and they have the shelter of staying under the coconut if they suddenly feel unsafe x
