Is it common for the female to get the hump once they have matted because i seperated them yesterday as she was trying to get away from him and went to get her out today and she was rattling her tail she didnt seem happy just wanted to know if this was a good sign that she may be gravid
Thanks

Rick

When you say she was trying to get away from him, was he chasiong her around the viv?
If so then she is still releasing her 'come get me boys' smell.
If you're serious about breeding, then i'd leave her with him until the chasing around has stopped to give the best chances for her becoming gravid.

They wouldn't have mated in the hide. there's not enough space for it.

i agree with everything Kehhlyr's said.
i first caugt mine mating a while ago, then the female very obviously looked gravid but then i saw them mating again so best off leaving them together for best results
