Thanks Kehhlyr I had a problem straght away it wouldn't start. Found out that kick start wouldn't work as it was creating an electrical current. I heard there was a burnt out pit bike practically the same in a pond. Went down there and pulled it out and the kick start compnants that i needed were all good and working. Still not got it working. The electrical current isn't going to the spark plug. but straight to the cut off switch as it got has one. Needs an air filter for the carb and also need to repair the exhaust manifold as it wobbly. I'll try get some pics of it up.
You've got what looks like a 5 wire magneto. (the Kick start bit). They need a CDI to create a spark, it's electronic ignition instead of contact.
Do you want a really simple wiring shortcuts to guarantee it'll work? Just let me know the exact colours of each wire coming out of the magneto, and i'll tell you how to get it sparking.
Actually it'll only work if the coil and CDI are good.
i would be able to tell you Kehhlyr but during the night some idiots decided to rob the bike. The thing is tho they are going to have a suprise that it doesn't start and also the kill switch has been cut and there is no hydrolhic fluid and no back brake. Have fun whoever stole it haha. I am annoyed but not hugely bothered as i didn't spend any money on it and that i found it abanonded anyway lol
lol well back from Tunisia now and Easter's nearly over Baha I drank, gymed swam did some watersports chilled mainly and came home to a lively, just clean shedded corny
