hi!.
i'm getting some goldish soon (yay, finally a pet of my very own!) was just wondering what to call it?.
i'm really not creative when it comes to names, so what are popular fishy names? |

LOL Mulv.
I used to have 2 fish (not goldfish though) called 'One' and 'Two'.
Because if one died, I'd still have Two.
They were brilliant fish, and excellent play on word for names. |

| We started off with flipper who was joined by kipper and dipper. Next would have been slipper if the others hadnt av died and kipper wasnt antisocial. |

| bubbles is always a good one... i had one called jaws that now lives in a mates tank which is coming up for 10 years old and is huge! for a normal goldfish anyway... |

Working with fish I can safely say that THE most common name for a goldfish is Nemo (Look mummy its NEMO!!! *insert squeals of joy and myself bashing my head against the closest wall* and for any kind of aquatic snail its Gary |

Altogether it was Fishy Fanny Bubbles Lol! My mum didnt approve though... |

Darth - (Ancistrus triradiatus) he was about 21 when he died.
One and two - (silver Dollar)
Ralakai - (Blue lobster)
Madison - (can't remember crayfish)
William and Harry - (asiatic Soft Shelled turtles)
Sphinx - (Sturgeon)
Beans - (Oscar)
Richard - (siamese fighter) - My daughter named him when she was 5
his Girlfiends - (several female fighters) as above
Bang - (Generic Plec) named by my son when he was about 2 on firework night
Plus a myriad of other fish.
So for entertaining names, ask children. My daughter did name a teddy 'uh' once as well. |

we have a pleccy called gary. Simply because my mate exclamted "gary, eat algae!!"
soo funny
we also have yakubu, coke, coke diet, coke zero, thor, cream, mandarine, gaz, baz and mandy, roy and troy koy, and gold fish called the fish bros and one called jaggermouth and one called slackjaw
