Not sure what kind of spider this is... It was in my house so it must be a house spider Well I decided to catch it last night in a cricket tub and release it this morning. Well today I was curious and decided to throw a wax worm in with it.
This was awesome!!!

Check out the fangs!

ahhhhhh its one of those nasty ones that sits there and laughs at you while your shaking and crying out for help cos hes planning on pouncing on you i had one of these turn up next to the till i was working on at work the other week, made me look like a right idiot infront of the customers. i saw it, froze, screamed for my boss, HE ran outside and left me with it ! luckly one of my regulars came round and got it while i went outside and had a cry lol i hate being so scared of spiders and i wish i could get over my fear. Damn you, you eight legged feinds! |

*being a complete spider noob*
Do they actually eat the worms whole or just like, suck stuff out of them? (technical terms ftw) |

Looks like a wolfspider, we used to keep one as a pet in school (as a science project) for a while. Ee fed it on woodlice and other things we found under rocks and stuff outside. They grow massive when well fed, my mate got bitten by it and his hand swelled massively for a day or two. |

Wow. I kinda believed their fangs couldnt penetrate skin... He doesnt look so cute and friendly now lol Well ive decided to set a little home up for this guy now, If he gets on well il keep hold of him for a while, if not il let him go. Im curious to see how big they can get.
Mulv, All that was left of that waxie is just a tiiiny shriveled up black bit They use their venom to kinda digests the food before they've eaten it, once the insides are liquid-fied (?) they suck it out

I saw a spider like this on my bedroom wall last night. I cried. My OH then done his job, and got rid of it with a pringle tub
But i am quite surprised that the spid managed to eat the waxy too. From the pics the waxy looks almost the same size as it! |

Yeah it looks like a wolfie alright.
when they breed they push a huge silk sack around with her babies in.
Yeah my mate found a spidey on a tree once tried to pick it up and and it bit him. LOL was rather funny watching him have a blue fit xD |

I've gotta try get piccys tomorrow of a 'rabbit hutch spider' that i caught running across my conservatory floor about a month or so ago. I've been keeping it in a cricket tub and feding it crickets and it's just laid an egg sac.
Ooh, rabbit hutch spiderlings!! |
