My snake always seems to poo while im handleing her. I fed her 2 adult mice the saturday before last and she pooed a day after, i then took her out on the thursday after that and she pooed all over me. (to my horror i was wearing my school clothes.....). then i fed her last friday evening. she pooed in her viv 2hrs ago, and my logic told me that it would be fine to handle her. after about 15 mins she decided to point her tail up..(i was prepared and had newspaper with me)..it was only a tiny bit of poo so i put her straight back and cleaned everything up. Basically, i think she is starting to assosiate pooing on me, with me puttering her back in her viv. Is there anything i can do to discourage this behaviour?

I used to have this problem but now i always bath my snakes on day two after feeding and this always does the trick for me. See my thread in this section titled "bathing"

Well I always let mine poo after eating before i hande her, and she has usually done it in the 48hr cooling off from feeding period so when i handle her she doesn't do it

Our king musks on Lewy all the time, but it's quite rare in corns.

Maybe she's just so nervous that she's trying to make herself feel more secure by covering you in her scent. That's usually why they poo immediately after you've cleaned out their viv. They want things to smell like them so they feel like it's their place.

She did it again about 20 mins ago. Luckily i had her towel over my lap. The viv was open and about 2 mtrs from me but i didnt risk moving her into it quickly incase she did it all over my floor! Has anyone found that they can predict when there snake will poo. mine will always do it 3 days after feeding, and then again 2 days after that. This time she did it for a third time (she was fed the sunday before last)
