Well, not exactly, but it was the 1st feed since I've owned her. She has settled into her new home really well this week. She doesn't mind being handled at all. Fed her a nice warm fluff and she ate without any hesitation at all. However I was expecting a more violent strike response. I was surprised she didn't attempt a constriction. I wiggled it about in front of her and continued to move it after she grabbed it.
Tried her with a 2nd fluff, which she almost completely ignored so I let her go back to her favourite hiding spot. All in all, i'm very happy.
Hope you like the pics...........

Actually, a little concerned now. Tried feeding last night and again today and she's showing no interest in the mice at all.
What's the 1st trick to try to induce feeding? |

I'd try "Braining" - split the mouses skull. yummy smell of delicious brains (To Lila ) Or hitting her with the mouse making her annoyed and will strike at the mouse although a few people disaprove of this method as the snake might think the mouse is out to get them!
Then check for the "blue" skin appears duller, eyes cloudy, and blue tints in their skin (check my sig around my carolina hes verk dull and anery for the blue tinge)
Hope i helped |

That's how I tried feeding her. How long should I leave her in the tub for?
I'll leave her a couple of days then I'll try her with a brained fuzzy, sounds like a lot of fun! |

Try not to get too worked up over 1 missed feed though - remember snakes can go a long time without eating...
She'll be eating when she's hungry - good luck and let us all know how you get on (with pics!) |

As said many times before, its the owners that get more worried about not eating than the snakes themselves lol.
As for braining, it really does sound worse than it is, with pinkies and fluffs it's even easier because they haven't got fully developed skulls yet. I just stuck the tweezers I use into it's head. |

Cheers guys..... I'm not too worried. My Burmese I had years ago went completely of his food for nearly 4 months. Then without anything changing like routine or temps, he suddenly started again.
I'm not gonna disturb her at all today or tomorrow, then try her in the evening with an easy meal of a small fluff.
Will let you know what happens.......... |

Still no joy. Left her alone in a small tub with a fluff for 2 hours and she ignored it completely. Will try again at the weekend! |
