Today i rescued a black and white stripe Cali King, not sure of sex, but i had to destroy the viv he came in as it was awful and only just two foot.
he is approx 14 years old and is this black and white, i dont have a digi camera so had to find a photo, and he is identical to this.
I am in Bedfordshire and would like to find this lad a home as he deserves a bit of TLC and i have borrowed a viv to put him in temporarily, but it is not big enough being the same size as the one he came out of and that is for my Corn that is coming next week...

he is lovely, i am not sure where the fiesty bit came from, just what i was told, that is not him, just he looks the same..lol..i am not really in a hurry to home him, as long as i find the right home, the corn will have to go in a rub temporarily is all..
he is a nice snake, been told he has tried a couple of times to eat his tail and can be bitey when he is hungry...but hey Calis like me like there food dont they
i reckon he is around 3 and a half foot...beautiful markings, and has either an old burn on his back end or a previous bad shed, will let him settle before i start investigating, dont want to stress him out to much...it is probably bothering me more than him.
Do you want him Kehhlyr...he is Luvverly...lol..and i dont want to become attatched to him |

Hi Kehhlyr, i am near Luton about six miles north, where are you?
I have been sat quietly in the dark watching him for a while, he kept popping up to have a look, bless him, he is so cute... |

My definate answer took longer than expected, sorry.
Unfortunate;y i can't get up to you, the missus wont let me borrow her car.
I'd do it in mine, but i've had a mishap with my gearbox and lost fifth, consequently long drives cost LOADS, and i've snapped my handbrake cables 3 times now in the past 6 weeks.
So driving her precious little baby for a 240 mile round trip is currently under dispute. |

I'm getting off my backside now to fix my car, that's probably why she wouldn't let me use her car really.
I'm not gonna do the gearbox, it's a pig of a job and being a french car, it probably wont make any difference. I'm just gonna have to do it without 5th gear, 50mph all the way then.

Car fixed, i'm ready to go.
Got quarantine viv set-up, unwrapped other viv from garage today as well. Woo and Yay.

Kehhlyr picked him up last night, He is a lovely King great personality, and eats like a pig, strikes faster than concorde to..lol..glad i had a pair of tongs on the end of his dinner when i fed him..lol.. and with loads of TLC he will spend his twilight years in great hands that i am sure of.
I am glad you have him to, means we get lots of pics of him and will see him once he is fully back to perfect health..
I have an empty viv now....my corn is way to small for it, so i am not sure what i will put in there.. |

Pics will be up shortly, i've not long got a machine working.
I also broke the cardinal rule of getting him out earlier, however i claim 'medical' reasons because i was trying to get a better look at his tail. |

He seems to love water, i haven't yet given him a bath, as didn't want to do to much to him until he has settled properly, and already have done to much.
I know he likes the water because he has to stick his head into the water bowl, and have a good look around as soon as it goes in. |
