I've recently started to feed my snake fuzzies. He has just wolfed 2 down in quick sucession and I'm wondering should I offer him another. Will he take it if he's hungry or will he over-eat (given the chance). He's about 5 months old. Cheers
Cheers Lee. When I've spoken to the pet shop they say 2 is usually ok. I'm concerned now that he's having 2 each 'sitting'. Do you think that is 2 many?
Well you can vary it, my baby is still on pinkies and one week ill give 2 then 1 the nest week and week after then back to 2 again.. vary it like that. Corns usually have an appetite much bigger than what they can actually handle.. it can create mproblems if you 'over-feed them' as long as you can see a bulge in his belly its plenty
how often is he being fed at the moment? he could be genuinely hungry but it's also easy to over feed corns.
if he's regularly on 2 fuzzies per meal how does a small mouse look size-wise? if it's up to 1.5 times the width of his body at the widest part then he should manage it, but increase the number of days between feeds.
