reptiles are addictive, i find them so interesting i just want more, im sure im not the only one lol
anyways seeing all the morphs of corns makes me want to get another. I've read the thread about keeping corns together, so if i did get another one i wouldn't put them together until they are much older and the same size, but when they are adult size what would you recomend?
I'm at college doing animal management and we have an onsite building with many different reptiles. And they keep their adult corn snakes together no problem, feeding them seperate, and the man who owns them said there shouldnt be a problem...although i would like to know what other people think. |

All snakes are addictive
If you want to keep them together thats fine, just make sure you quarentine(sp?) the new snake. I would wait until they were 3 years old to put them together. |

i had two juvies together and they often hid together. tho i had to get rid of them i now know the problems it causes. and social problems it causes, corns like alot of snakes arent in packs like dogs etc they like to be alone unless breading. they can feel nervous if another snake is around. but alot of people will differ! i have one snake now and thats my limit! |

i wouldnt keep juvies together, i would wait until they are adults, 3+ year olds. i was just thinking as i have a large enough viv for 2 are there any risks keeping them together at that age. |

all the above are vaild points but i DO cohabit some of my corns. i have a 1.1 adult pair permanently living together in a 4'x2'x2' viv, they are fed separately and closely monitored and have 6 hides to choose from so they don't have to curl up together or be bullied for the warm spot. same goes for my 14 month old 0.2 pair. you have to get all the info and make an informed decision. i certainly wouldn't keep more than one male in a viv if there were female in there as well as they're likely to fight to mate with the girls. |
