Just wanted to say hi!
I have just "inherited" a corn snake from my sister. He needs a bigger home but she hasn't got room for anything bigger.
He's about 4 feet long. What sort of size vivarium do I need?
And how old do you think he might be? My sister isn't sure.
Looking forward to making a nice new home for him!!!
Bye for now! Vicky |

Hello, welcome to the site Vix. A 3-4 ft Viv will be fine for him now, as for age it's really hard to tell it depends on how much he's been fed. I have a few corns that are around the 4 ft mark and thay're between 2 and a half and 3 and a half years old to give you a rough idea. |
3.2.0 corns 0.3.1 Leopard Geckos, 0.1.0 Mad Staffys 1.0.0 Moggie. 1.2.0. Devils in training.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
And like what Tizzy says, it can be quit hard to judge the age of a corn. My 2 small ones are betwwen 3 1/2 and 4 feet long and one is about 7, the other about 9. Age is quite hard to guess with snakes. |

Hello and welcome .
Matilda is just over 4 years old and was 4 foot 2 inches long last time I measured her. She's in a 36 x 15 x 15 (inch) viv at the mo and seems happy.
p.s. Down to one glove now guys . |

Hi and welcome. A 3 or 4 foot viv will be fine. Corns over 4ft are very hard to jusge the age of. Have you got any pics? |
