Is it what you want or what your snake wants though?

Young snakes are naturally agoraphobic and would probably prefer a nice cramped space, although I'm sure you could fit another hide in, even if just a toilet roll?

Bit small yet really, i know it's hard but stick it out in the faunarium for a while it won't be long till he's 18 inches long and in a 3ft viv and probably sill only using about 2 inches of it.

If you want to give him some enrichment change his stuff round abit, switch the hot and cold end stuff like that. There isn't much point buying pricey hides at his age coz they out grow them so quickly just try boxes plant pots anything like that.

Is it a thing you dont 'Recommend' rather than a 'Not allowed' thing coz its bad for them? Can stress kill a snake? or just amke it angry etc etc..

This is what mine all started in, probably smaller than your by the looks. You need to offer hides at both ends so that the snake has a choice.

Yes some will be ok being moved into a larger viv, but others will stop eating or even become a bit snappy if they're stressed.

Its a nice shiney apple too....

My lil snake (she is 7 months old) is in a 3ft viv. Its full of hides, and greenery, and she loves it! Always out and about during the night. I think it depends on the snake, and the viv needs to be full of hides etc, so even though its a big space, they feel secure. If that makes sense?

Hey Marc. Are you still using the metal water bowl? If you are get a smaller one and put a toilet roll tube on the cool side. Remeber they dont think like us, they dont get bored fast and dont always want more room.
