hi. i've just started to handle my 2 baby corns but they are very nervous when outdide their viv. they seem to 'jump' about in my hand. is there a reason for this?

they'll get used to being handled if you keep handling sessions frequent (daily except for feeding and shedding) and short 5-15 mins. if they're particularly wriggley i'd handle them over the faunarium or sit down with a towel over your lap, just in case you accidentally drop them (it happenes, they're fiddley wriggley things!!)

they are only wriggly when first picked up. as soon as they are safly supported then they settle down quickly and don't seem to mind it now. thanks for your advice, muchly appreciated.
