To cut a long story short we went to look at a milk snake today and the lady was also selling a corn and would only sell them both together. The snake is in good condition but the viv was filthy and way too small for it and being a softass i couldn't leave it there so ended up buying both. We believe it is male (but not confirmed) and he has lost the very tip of his tail at some point although it's totally healed. The problem being i dont have any spare viv space at the moment so cant really keep him .

I'm not sure what morph it is, it's lighter than a carolina but darker than amel? Out local rep shop did suggest it could be caramel? He's about 4 to 4 and a half feet long and about the size of a 2p at his fattest point weiging in at 379g.

The corn comes with a heatmat (no stat) hides and the 2ft (yes too small i know) Terrarium he's currently in. Also has a light fitted. The terrarium has a crack up one side that is stable and has been taped up as a short term measure.

Current set up

Snakey

Tail

Just looking to get my money back really so offers arong £60. Pick up from Bristol, i may be willing to travel a little way or meet in the middle to find this lovely snakey the right home.

Any questions feel free to ask - also if anyone local has a 3 or 4 ft viv they are selling or could lend me short term to help the little guy out please get in touch.

So do i he's such a friendly snake but too big to go in with my girls or i'd keep him. I just don't have room for another viv without putting him somewhere obscure where he'll get forgotten about.

Good news is i've ordered sone runners and vents and the other half is gonna build a bigger viv for the Milk snake so this boy will be getting a 3ft viv as soon as thats done.

Anyone have any ideas on what morph he may be?

definately not just an amel because you can see darker markings on it and amels are lacking in all black pigment

not sure beyond that though, sorry, gorgeous though

Yeah thats what i've been thinking more today, Now he's been out exploring and i had more time to look at him. My other carolina is alot darker but he's also about half the size, this one is very yellow around the neck and on his underside but it doesn't really show up on the pictures.

Nope, kids were getting moody with me coz he was on top of their toy box so he's up in my bedroom for now. I'm just worred he's going to get neglected up there coz everything else is in one room.

He's lovely and i'm tempted to keep him but we have run out of viv space, especially as the baby beardie needs to upgrade soon.

I'm willing to take a hit on what i paid but he really needs to find a home soon or the OH says my milk snake will have to go to make room. (That is not happening though even if i have already been offered silly money for her)

He's advertised in the trade it, on here and preloved so if anyone has any other ideas where i could advertise him let me know. (was thinking about signing up to the darkside but wasn't sure if i'd be bitched about for sighning up just to advertise?)

it's such a mahoooosive forum people probably wouldn't notice, like Kaz said. and people on here wouldn't bitch (but we may take the micky )

problem with the dark side is that a lot of people want things very cheap but it's definitely worth a go

Where do you live then lee? I'm in Bemmy near the college?

I might give RFUK a go once the milk snakes old viv is empty for him - to be honest i think a 3 ft wooden viv with light and heatmat for £50 is pretty cheep is a bloody bargin, let alone to have a pretty snakey in it who's just ready for breading?

I'm worried about going too cheap coz i don't want him to somebody who wont look after him

Oooh, just up the hill then.

Some of the pets i have came from total numptys too -

An adult beardie in a 2ft tank
Baby amel corn being fed pinkys every day
Leopard gecko in a 10" tank on sand
The Anery who was picked up with a stick and had no hide or water dish
This corn and the milk snake were just filthy
And DD my white staffy was so fat she has 2 busted knees at 18 months old and is now half way through the operations she needs to sort her out.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed animals at all!

Yeah Maybe, but shes with us now and has lost 3 kilos already and had one leg sorted anb the next onw will be done by the summer and thats what couts really. She was over loved rather than neglected. Anyway I kinda fell out with the RSPCA after we got the cat from them and they put me on there sales calls list and sold by phone number and details to every charity begging call centre south of santas house. I'm a very charitable person but cant deal with 5 calls a day!!!!
