Hello, I bought my first snake today. She's a Crimson. I haven't thought up a name yet but am working on it. She's beautiful and so friendly. So a big hello from myself and my new baby :) The_Con |

Hey, thanks for all the welcomes :) She's due her first feed in her new home today...bit nervous to be honest. Hope it goes well. Any advice guys? She's settled in really well now. Although the tank is full of condensation which i keep cleaning up but it comes back with a vengeance. The guy i spoke to in the shop said it should clear up in a few days? Does that sound about right? I've taken some pics, albeit blurry pics, but pics nonetheless. How do i put them up here? Lol total newb!

Feeding advise is just not to spook the snake and wash your hands between handling the snake and the mice. Are you going to feed it in or outside of the viv?
The condensation should clear up as the bark dries out.
And I see you have the pics sussed. Nice snake |

the condensation is purely from the orchid bark substrate, it comes out of the bag too damp which is why i don't lke it much for corns. when she naxt has a full clean out try baking the orchid bark in the oven before putting it in the faunarium, that should get rid of some of the moisture and reduce the humidity |
