more than likely, his eyes will eventually go blue, then clear, then he should shed anything up to a week later

ooops, I bought another.........

The eyes will lose the red colour completely as he gets closer to shedding.
If he sheds and you're not there he'll just leave you a nice snake skin in the viv.
Unfortunately snakes seem to always be able to shed when no one is about, but it's nothing to worry about he wont eat it and it wouldn't cause any problems being in there for a few hours either.

Ok im gettin worried i noticed on Wed that his skin was rough and he didnt wanna be handled but its friday now and theres still no shed. Im just worried that he will have a bad shed.. i sprinkled some water on the susstrate(wood chippings) to make it abit damp and humid and i got a hygrometer but its just the wee round one outa the pet shop and it says humidity is at 70% but duno if its correct or not.. tho i can like see his old skin on him as if its waiting to come off.. he doesnt have a branch or anything just the substrate and a coco hide which i got with it when i first got him
Any tips or anything? Should i be worried? Will he shed this weekend??

Put him in a nice warm bath, about 2 inches deep for a few mins.
Then when you get him out, wrap a towel around him and let him slither his way out, that way any excess damp on his skin can get absorbed by the towel, without being to harh on his skin.
As for humidity being at 70%, I wouldn't say anymore than 50 for a corn.

He'l shed when he's ready, it's nothing to get stressed about. Their eyes go cloudy the clear again and although it's usually a couple of days it can be up to a week from then. They just like to keep us guessing and worrying. ;-)
