may seem a silly question but i got told they were day snakes and mine only seems to come out at night! |

They are a bit of both really. In the wild, they would be out in the day soaking up the sun, but active at night to hunt and the like.
Ours are a lot more active at night too, but that's because they like to hide when there's scary giants about (us) |

Hehe, yeah, this is completely normal. My corn is more or less nocturnal too, which is good considering that her owner more or less is too ^^; |

corns are diurnal - active at day or at night. some of mine i regularly see out and about during daylight hours, others are rarely out at that time. a cornsnake will be active when looking for food, so if they're feeling hungry you might see a bit more of them a day or two before a feed is due. |
