from wht i've seen on other forums that's about right, expect to pay a little more from a shop though - they have to factor in their overheads! |

£125 I think was the cheapest I've seen one in shops for, but my usual shop said they can get them but more around £200.
I want one. Badly. lol. |

Shop up the road from me has Columbian Rainbow Boas for 80 quid. Brazilians range from 125-250 |

I saw a BRB at Donny show for £80 but that's really cheap. Shops would be loads more than that.
Best you can do is wait for another show to come along or keep searching the classifieds for a bargain. |

I'm jealous of Kaz and her BRB lol.
I would be saving for one but I'm concentrating on getting Sid better and into his new Viv. |

I think you're the insensitive one.
Have you not seen how bad 'man flu' is? I'm assuming you've seen this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXLHWmjA5IE

I've been meaning to ask this and it seems the appropriate time, otherwise I don't mind if a mod moves this, but I want both my two to grow to their full potential but not at the expense of their health, is there some kind of feeding routine? |

That's weird Kehhlyr- that's exactly what Lewy was like- except that somehow his bell got chucked out the window. Poor little bunny
Ruby is growing longer BE, but she's missed two feeds again so a bit worried. No weight loss as yet, but she should be feeding more at her age. She's a growing lass.
Mulv- do you mean power feeding? Some people will feed their growing corns every 3 days to maximise their growth, but it's not really healthy for the snake. I would advise that you should only ever power feed a adult female either when preparing for mating or just after egg laying. Normally snakes don't need this and it's unhealthy for them to be overfed. They go for ages in the wild without food and still grow to a good size. I read in a book the other day that one snake in captivity wasn't fed for over 3 years and it still grew in length. It lost a lot of weight, but it still grew. Stick to recommended diet and you'll be fine. |

Cool ok. I thought it couldn't be that good for them.
Back on topic, went to 2 rep shops a bit further from me today and they both had a BRB, I think one was £189 but not sure about the other. Was very keen but my wallet was not |

Wait for a show or check the classifieds. There's one on Preloved at the moment for £175 that includes viv, stat, hides and everything. It's in Doncaster, but keep your eyes open for one in your area. More likely to get a bargain that way. |

Yeah I might try something like that. Either that or buy all the set up second hand.
I'm betting a second hand fish tank aint expensive... |

She likes her new viv though. We have spied her climbing about on the plastic plants. Bet she thinks she's in Brazil |
