Ive always left Hypos food at the bottom of her viv and shell go too it when she feels ok about it being there,
my mate has a 2ft ball python in which i fed yesterday well i was warned they strike but OUCH i actually felt sorry for the already dead mouse   |

Blink and you miss it their constriction strength is pretty good for their size too. |

seen a program on nat geo. wild this week and they said that a fully grown royal's constriction strength can be upto 80 pounds per square inch, that worked out the same as a small family car resting on your stomach!!! An anaconda'a is the equivelant to a 4 ton bus!!! Now that is strength!!! |
lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!! |

well ive looked at diff snakes as on the canal boat we have 1 large spare room and im thinking of getting a rsinbow boa, and a pet duck do the boas strike like that? |

Seriously though, my rainbow boa doesn't strike, but I think she's a rarity. |

i fed my friends rainbow boa the other week.. its only a baby.. around 18inches but ohh my god it had some force, ripped the poor mouse out of the forceps and it poped :( not a very nice site, blood everywhere, i felt bad for the poor thing.. even though it wasw alreadi dead, haha |

got a python where im situated at the min :) the entertainment is sorted....
shes a bit thick though falls off things all the time :/

Between my three snakes, BRB, Royal and Corn, the Royal has the hardest strike, the BRB the quickest and fastest coil, and the corn is a puppy dog, he strikes and coils, but in a nice way, nothing like the other two, he doesn't even make me jump. I jump EVERYTIME with the royal. |
