Yes I know I look like I'm about to touch cloth. I'm just really tired. Honest!
Sorry about the pic quality. My daughter took it. I'll get some better ones once she's settled in. |

She's an 04. Been told she's a bog standard Carolina Corn. Very active and inquisitive. 794g but I'll let her settle in before I try to measure her.
She only strikes when she's taken out. Once she's out she's fine.
Anyone had a problem like this before? Any ideas? I'll try anything once just as long as it's not Illegal, Immoral or painful Is Aspen the best substrate for corn's too? Do they appreciate a bath like Royal's?
The kids love her to bits already My 1yr old son is already saying "'tilda". |

nice corn u have there, i always use aspen just like most others on here as about ur other questions others would be better answering them as i have never had any of my corns strike at me, as for baths my corns dont like it to much others may do i now a few people on here they say there corns like a bath i guess mine are just fussy. |

I think they striking at you as you go to get her out is more of a defensive action, just like when you get a young snake. Give it time with plenty of handling and you should be ok. |
lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!! |

Just me bein' a big girls blouse. Was really in the mood to be bitten. That combined with me having a bit of an accident with a big bottle of Kahle's preservative solution in the lab that day. Wasn't to sure what effect it would have on her so thought I would play it safe.
Yum, Kahle's. Flammable, Toxic and Corrosive all in one handy bottle. Nice. |

i know it sounds silly but not seen any fully grown ones in full next to a person so you can actually compare the size... |

Thanks Guys.
I'm still learning the whole Corn thing but I should imagine she's probably not far off fully grown. DOB early November 2004 so just over 4 years old.
Definately more of a hand-full than Sherman. |

I thought they wouldn't get bigger than that (Cyd's about that size) until we got Trilby, she's massive! Bigger than Nagini who was our bigest snake until Trilby came along. So they can get bigger but I suppose like most things it depends on the snake, diet etc. |

I think those immortal words "We need a bigger boat!!" would be quite apt at this point. |

Not really sure Matty. She might be cross rat, but it's not confirmed. She might just be a big fatty |
