The picture quality is pretty rubbish..She was labeled in the shop as a anerythristic? I'll try and get some decent pics of her tomorow & let me know what you think lol?!
Also i'm having a few issues with keeping the temperature constant. It either goes to hot or to cold & i can't seem to get the temp right on the thermostat so it reads the right temp on the thermometer? The thermometer is sitting on top of the substrate that the heat mat is under. am i doing something wrong? :S

your probably doing nothing wrong, thermostats can take a bit of fine tuning to get them to the right temp.

lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!!

It's a digital thermometer. Like one second it'll be about 88F and then like a minute later it'll be like 77F?
At the moment the stat is at 80F and the thermometer is reading 85F, but it wont stay at that temp.
what is the coldest/hottest the temp can get to without me needing to panic lol?!
The hottest its been is 90F and the coldest was 68F last night.
Shes not been in the hot end either? she's always in the hide on the cool end.
Thanks for your replys.

whereabouts is the stat probe? ideally it should be on the substrate at the warm end, either next to your thermometer or in the warm hide.

i'm pretty sure you've got a ghost there, a bargain if you only paid an anery price for it too this is a hatchling anery (hope Beenie doesn't mind me posting this!)

yeah the stat probe was like in the middle but is now in the hide on the warm end. Got it working a bit better, managed to get the stat set in the right kind of place and the thermometer is now showing the right kind of temps, but is still going up and down alot (but the stat is turning off when the thermometer is showing a higher temp now)so hopefully got it sorted!
hmmm, i think she is a anery (paid £60 for her)...the pic quality is pretty rubbish but i dont think she's as dark as the one in your pic lol. Will try and get one with a decent camera tomorow :)
