Firstly hello to everyone. I have recently purchased my first cornsnake on friday and he seems to be settling in well. He had his first feed from me yesterday and on checking him today he seems to be starting to shed as i read somewhere that there eyes turn a milky colour before they shed.
Here are a couple pics of his set up and of course the snake in person.
I also have a few other pets which include fish and a bearded dragon.
Anyway just a quick introduction and a hello.
Cheers

hi there and welcome..
nice set up and snake you got there. glad to see you have got a thermostat. i would suggest that you put a hide in either end of his/her viv so she can feel totally safe wen thermoregulting. other than that looking good mate. |

I bought the complete set up from my local pet shop for £110 which included everything i needed which i thought was quite good. Yea i was thinking i needed another hide thats why i have it in the middle of the tank so he can go either side of the hide. |

Very nice! Perhaps cover up some sides of the viv with some background so it doesnt look so open for him to? |

Cheers guys. One question to someone that knows more about colours but is my corn just the normal colour or is he different? Not sure as there are so many different ones out there? |

heya and welcome he's definitely due to shed in the next 4-7 days, looks a bit miami-ish to me (though could be my computer monitor), you'll have to get some more pics when he's shed |

i'd recommend 2 hides, one in each end - you don't have to buy one you can improvise with plastic lid/trays, cardboard tubes...... anything! |
