Just wanted to tell someone, I'm well chuffed now.
I saw an advert in the echo yesterday for Assorted CF70 Chaly parts for 30 quid. I phoned the bloke up and he asked me what I wanted, i told him if he wants to get rid of the lot for 30, i'll have 'em. He did!!!
I've been slowly rebuilding my Chaly for the past 3 years and parts for a 1976 are few and far between. When i got the bits home, i've essentially got a complete bike!! Bargain! I'm now getting my hands dirty in the garage tinkering with it, although the missus said i should be doing something useful as it's the first nice day we've had in ages. But isn't finishing my bike a useful thing to do?? Plus there are other bits that i wont use for my Chaly that I can use on my other bike. Woo Yay to Me!!!!
End of happy jolly joy joy me for now, i just wanted to tell everyone. |

This is her in January 2006 in my dining room, And yes she has been given a name, it's Angela. In these 2 pics, she's having a complete engine rebuild with a 6 volt contact ignition changeover to a 12 volt system with CDi ignition. She's far from being done in these 2, in fact it was only about 2 hours ago that her engine ran properly for the first time since I got her. I'll have to get some more piccys, i think i have some on my facebook actually.

Now for pics from my facebook these ones were taken in June this year. The black bike in the 3rd pic is Jessica, my other bike, she's in bits in the garage as well because she hasn't been right since she got smashed up with me last year in Christchurch.

This is what I'm intending on ending up with:

I should of yes, but not having to get out of my dressing gown on lazy days made it so much easier
Unfortunately I didn't have a garage then, and we never used the dining room, so it made sense (to me anyway) to turn it into a temp workshop. The missus face when she found out i had liberated the room was entertaining, especially since i had been using it for about 3 days until she noticed. |

I knew you were saying sweet as in cool, i was just saying that you're a bit biased (like me) about small bikes, because you have a pitty.
Normally the MonkeyRun is in May, firsty week of. Usually have a good few hundred Monkeys descend on IoW for it. |
