I have just bought my first snake this afternoon, a baby corn snake named Gobi
My 16 month old daughter adores him/her - no idea of sex yet
cant wait to get stuck in to the forum, I can see this turning into a very expensive obsession/..... |

Oh dear, 16 month old, and Just got a corn.....
You'll end up turning the nursery into a Viv-room.
I'm sure you'll be able to find a box or something for little 'un to sleep in. It can get expensive, yes.

Hiya and welcome to the forum, it can get soooooo addictive... although i still think keeping and buying our 4 is cheaper than having a dog! :) |

Hi and welcome! I think that it is cheaper to own snakes. However a snake cant give you as much love that a dog can. And a snake doesnt almost explode with excitment when you come home |

That's beacuse they are more dignified than dogs :P but they don't make your house smell and leave presents on your carpet if your out all day :P |

heya and welcome milliesmummy, my 22 month old daughter loves my snakes (but i'm still not allowed to make her room into a rep room!) she loves 'snakelaces' - a snake necklace round both our necks - have to use one of the adult corns for that, and i tease her with 'mice lollies' too |

Its like one of my friend's call the snake bug. Once you get one snake it isnt very long until you get another. Thats how i ended up with 4, plus a few were goin cheap. And a lady can't turn down a good bargain. |
