If she's gonna sell it, let me know as well, i could always do with bits, i ride like a possessed devil according to my missus.
I've just sold a rolling chassis for a thumpy for 6 quid on ebay. All it would've needed was the engine bolted in and brakes connected and it would have been done.

Do like Bikes but never had one - more of a classic car person myself though... will stick to the stag

Used to do the website for Biker Build Off UK that was on the discovery channel years ago - They had some great custom bikes! Here's my favourite, ALF:

I'm more of a car person now, well pretty much since I bought my first mk2 escort in 1996. i only sold that one about 2 years ago (and still regret it!) and have had at least half a dozen other mk2s in that time. used to rally them quite successfully at club level - a standard 1300cc mk 2 against Scoobs and an Evo and we'd still win.......... happy days!!

I'd love a bike, but my BIKER parents forbid me to have one when I was a teenager, so I ended up a car fan instead - my most recent being an old London Hackney Cab (Fairway Driver) that I loved and adored until the gearbox fell out and we had to sell it. Thankfully its with a really nice dude who's kids spotted it on ebay and he can fix it up. His wife is a tatoo artist which made me happy about the whole thing.. selling cars is haaaard but selling a car to nice people who say they won't change its name (Alphonse) is awesome Personally I'd love a Kawasaki Ninja.. there used to be one in Soho that I passed every day and lushed over

1.0.0 miami x crimson corn snake (sirius)
0.2.0 leopard geckos (esma and gytha)
2.0.0 emperor scorpions (bebe and jim)
2.0.0 moggies (othello and tachikoma)

1972 restoring it at the moment - getting the bodywork sorted and full respray - all stripped down at the moment so don't look the best - Although it will do when it's done - Mechanically it's fine though - oh and it's got the engine that should have been put in them

Here's a pic:

Ah do love migets but they rust like mad I'm told (I work overlooking a car workshop and performance centre so see all sorts coming in... That's how I ended up with the Stag)

Very nice, puts me to shame with Midget.
Mine is 1978, I did make a mistake with it though; The missus wouldn't let me because "you'd spend the national debt on it".
And fair enough i would if i could. Idiot here though said he'd be able to get it sorted for less than 100 quid, by doing everything myself.
So far it's cost me just shy of 25 quid to get it where it is now.
The next day we have that's fairly light, i'll try to get some decent piccys.

Really don't know how I have the time... You missed the full time job 8.30 - 5.30 and an hour each way to and from work - Kaz does a lot really, she'll sort the snakes while I work on the stag on Saturdays, and she's always got a nice dinner on for when I get in from work... unless I do the cooking, but then she complains cos I spend hours in the kitchen making things up as I go along, normally turns out nice though. That's one thing I wish I had time to do... more cooking - I love good food (not saying that Kaz' food is bad - she's a great cook!)

The Jam night was a bit pants to put it lightly, they promised a PA system and full set up - I turned up with my guitar and there was nothing to plug into or sing into. Won't be going again

Would be nice to see some pics! - That was the pic before restoration got loads to do on her - There was mushrooms growing on the carpets in the front when I got it and there's some rust to sort out before it's resprayed. Old cars always cost the earth even when you do everything yourself - the parts are so expensive and with most classics hard to find. Luckily the Stag parts are all still being made new, due to the owners club tooling fund.

There's a nice Midget next door to us which is sadly just sat outside rusting away, we think the old lady that lives next door has been put in an old people's home and it's just been left on the drive
