I am new to this forum although I have joined a few forums in the last few days/weeks. I am hoping this one is friendly a place as I have recently stopped using a forum that I started using in about June this year as every topic seemed to end up as an argument or slanging match between regulars on the forum.

Anyway me and my 17 year old son Matt have 10 snakes 6 of which are corn snakes (which are my favourite) The oldest corn we have had for 8 years and all the others have been acquired this year.

We are hoping to breed a couple of pairs next year so are trying to get as much nfo on brumation and breeding as possible at the moment so may end up posting questions on here if there is anything we are unsure of. We will be reading all the posts on here about breeding first.

anyway Hi to everyone and if there is anyone else on here from the midlands it would be ggreat to hear from you

Welcome to the forum.

We are also planning the breed next year, so it'll be good to swap info.

Glad you came in from the dark side. We don't like fighting on here (unless it's physical )

well from what i have seen so far it all seems really friendly so i am pleased to be here and hope to make some new friends of like minded people who don't think I am peculiar for liking snakes. All my colleagues at work think I am a nutter.

The only fighting we get round here is me and kaz fighting over the computer. She wins more than me, mostly.

That will be great and helpful, I am just trying to draw up a timetable at the moment of dates for last feed, cooling down to start, etc etc and trying to work it around holidays that are coming up in the early part of 2009
