read this today on the net, thought I would share. Think someone snake got loose and followed kehhlyr's advice, find a nice warm bed to sneak into!!! lol http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/7637067.stm |

sounds like a hognose, although it does say it wasn't venemous :S the rspca is keeping the 'rescue' snakes in the basement of our vets, it's a sham, but at least they aren't putting them to sleep. |

Sometimes snakes escape, it happens. I don't believe they should make it sound so sinister esp as the man obviously wasn't hurt. You don't get things like "Sharp clawed, slit eyed mammal found lurking in bushes by suprised sunbather, the animal was believed to have belonged to a neighbour" for a cat (although it would be true). |

I find it amazing they make such a big deal of a snake escaping, and yet believe it or not many more dogs escape from thier gardens than a snake escaping thier viv/terrarium. |

true. 3 wednesdays in a row we had stray dogs run / be brought in to one of the vets surgerys i work at. no microchip, no tag on the collar, no collar in one case.......... fortunately all were evenyually reunited with their owners. |
