As some guys wanted to see this, and i dunno wot happened to last ones pictures and it wouldnt let me edit it i thought i would repost these.
B&Q cut them all to size for me from one piece of 200cm X 60cm board. (nice people)
it starts to take shape
almost done
add edgeing tape, vent, glass, small light and heat mat. sorted!
A 24x15x15 wooden viv built for under £30 (not including mat)
As it is now. (light is a normal one now not a flourescent tube)
just wanted to show you guys that you dont always have to spend alot to have a good set up.
Here are the plans if anyone wants to have a go. all cut from one piece of board.

I like your new viv alot, what did you use for the doors in the end glass or perspex 4/6mm. i was trying to find somewhere that supplies the lower runner which allows you to use glass for the lower plinth. any ideas, most of the new vivs you see in the shops are now like this. |

i used glass for the doors. 4mm.
runners were hard to find. ended up getting them from homebase but was not cheap. think it was about £3 a meter.(6mm runners as couldnt find 4mm)
made a total of 4 vivs now and B&Q hasnt let me down yet with the cutting.
priced mine up at about £30. they are £54 on 888reptiles and its flat pack so you still have to build them yourself. |

I was just gonna suggest about using the excess to make a small platform or little shelf for them. But someone made it and showed it first, Grrr |
