did i miss the joke, i was waiting for the cat to chew the cable(just like my ex`s little gits did to my speaker cables) and catch fire or get electrocuted

My rats done that to my TV power cable a year or so ago.
Apart from jumping backwards across the cage, didn't bother them.

Dunno how a cat would react, so in their absence:
1 point to rats, none to cats.
