Hi all, Since I bought slinky (Great plains rat snake) home on Sat 6th Sept he never seems to come out of hididng and has not eaten yet, his last feed was Thur 4th sept He just doesnt seem interested in food. The viv set up is all ok. I have handled him and everything seems ok. Could this be still setteling in, shedding? Also I have 2 young children 1 and 3 that tend to make alot of noise as they do, even though the viv is out of reach can the snakes pick up on the noise?
i don't know there the same as a corn but when i first got mine i did'nt see it for about 7 or 8 days,then it decided to pop its head out and say hello, now i cant keep it in it's hide only when it's fed then i dont see it for 48 hours. I have 4 children and they run about and jump about and it don't seem to bother my corn i think it senses them what there doing and comes out to see what all the fuss is.
