hello there everyone i am new to this site, thought i'd introduce myself my names shaun and i have my very first baby corn it is 2mnths and 3 weeks old not sexed yet as it was to small when i got it that is why i call it an it but i will be finding out what sex it is next week, were i got it from say it's a candy cane, i just think it's a pretty amel i do have pics and will post in the picture section, i think it is starting to shed cos i aint seen for about 4 days now and it is usually very active and it has gone a real dull colour all over, tell a lie i feed it on thursday evening but apart from that it is hiding all the time a very jumpy, it is usually ok cos i have been handling it but now it just seems scared. Well that is all from me and mine thnx for taking the time to read this and by the way this site looks wicked. from shaun |

Hi and welcome. Looked at piccys, 'tis a nice snake. It is going into shed by the look of it. You're right, this place is wicked, but it's Lewy for making it, and the forum posters that make it good.
Moved topic to introductions for you. |

hi shaun and welcome to the forum, looked at your pics, very nice. Just a few peices of advice that I've picked up from the forum, your thermometer would be best suited on where the snake is going to be, on the substrate as the dial types aren't that reliable and can give only a rough guide to the temp, and also with your snake being in a glass viv. try covering at least two of the sides as they can get quite scared as they feel they're in open space and at threat. here's a pic to give you an idea;-
hope you don't feel overwhelmed with info and enjoy the site, we are a nice bunch as I'm sure you'll find out. scott |
lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!! |
