I am sorry that the eggs she has laid are not looking good Eeji and that the ones still inside her will be dead....but what is most important is that she survives. You are obviously fighting hard to keep her that way and I am so glad you were able to massage another stuck one out. I just hope the last 4 are laid or helped out soon so this can be over - for her and for you.

hope she passes her remaining ones soon

good luck with the 5 that are left :D

a few of the laid eggs have gone manky, theres only 5 left now :(

That's sad :( I didn't know they would die if they got stuck. I really hope she passes the remaining 4 soon and that the eggs she has laid are ok.
eeji Posted - 05/05/2010 : 18:09:14
she still has four eggs stuck, they'll all most likely be dead now.

Are they all out now Ian ?

Are they all out now then eeji?

I hope she's ok :( does this mean that the eggs she now has or passes may not hatch?

Hope she is still doing well.

Aaaw, sounds like she's doing well, bless her! Sprockett took 3 days to pass the rest, at a rate of about 4-5 a day :D

*crosses fingers*

another update, she passed a slug on her own today, and the next egg is very close to her cloaca so hopefully she'll pass the rest on her own.

Oh Eeji, I am so relieved to hear that she has begun passing some of the eggs. I just hope and pray that she is able to pass them all without any more assistance.

Ive only just stumbled across this!

Eeji- my toes, fingers and thumbs are crossed for you!

But it sounds promising - to my untrained ear- that she passed a slug on her own!

Hope all goes well with the rest.

It's nice to know there are vets out there who care more about animals than their wallets.

missed this thread,
got my fingers and toes crossed she manages to pass them all herself and recovers - shes a gorgeous snake
gmac Posted - 02/05/2010 : 20:16:30
thats good news Eeji, hope she manages the rest on her own

Am glad the vet was so good and has given her hopefully all she needs to help her lay the last of these eggs.

I know this must be a stressful time for you Eeji, so am thinking of you (and her).
