As GP has said, it doesnt tend to work after 2 or 3 days of the snake begining to lay.

Sounds pretty serious, hope all goes well for your girl.

eeji's right although the longer she stays egg-bound the less likely that will be able to be done successfully............and we're already on 2 weeks.........

is there any news yet?

if it was only a day or two since laying you could have tried a bath but with this amount of time elapsed it's now a vet job as eeji and matty have already said.

an egg-bound snake is likely to be costly but it's also definitely life-threatening as it will have got to the point where it's no longer soft and passable. unfortunately surgical intervention or euthanasia are the most likely options but please keep us posted.

100% agreement with eeji, vets trip as soon as you can.

if she's still got eggs inside her after laying over 2 weeks ago, then you need a vets appointment. If this egg is stuck and nothing is done then it could be fatal.
