Hiya, i have a female snake that is about 6 weeks pregnant, she has been in shed for a couple of days but looks like she will prob shed today. Well the last couple of days she has been laying dud eggs. 3 to be exact, one everyday for the last 3 days. Is this normal? She is about 4 and its not her 1st time. She is still very chunky aswell. Will she still have viable eggs or will she just keep laying duds now?  |

she's probably just looking for somewhere good to lay, hopefully she'll settle in the large damp hide and lay in there |

Well she has shed now and i have put a damp hide in there for her. Is it normal for her to be very active so close to laying? |

give her a large damp hide in the warm end of the viv so she has somewhere to lay, a tub with an opaque lid is ideal as you can have a peek and not disturb her too much |

she's clearing herself out, ready for the good eggs that are behind the slugs :)
She should lay between 1 and 2 weeks after her pre natal shed :) |
