Posted - 09/09/2009 : 00:06:45 i am unsure of the lowest reasonable breeding weight for a female corn as i would like to try mine with a much larger male corn would this cause any problems etc , the female is 5-6 years old but she has always been very small and has passed 2 lots or 6-8 eggs . |

Posted - 12/09/2009 : 16:22:33 at 5-6 years old it might be healthier if she was around the 500g mark............ but 300g is the generally accepted minimum as people have stated above |

Posted - 11/09/2009 : 22:50:05 yeh the smaller the clutch the younger n underweight the female best waiting till the advised 300grams you dont wont to risk losing her . Passing eggs already doesnt go for anything mine had 5 eggs only saved one she was 100grams (check my other posts). not worth the risk especially with a much bigger male. as he can bully into it abit (unconcented get ma drift)n totally stress out her n her pregnancy i have heard the whole situation if that bad, can result in death by all parties. |

Posted - 09/09/2009 : 03:26:28 feed her up quite a bit cause 6-8 eggs suggests she is really small for her age it is dangerous if she aint up to it wait n c what her weight is. |
