Corn snakes are hardy n they are renowned for their hudini imperssinations. Keep us all posted.

i think it is possible they escaped but it would mean them getting up a 2 and a half foot tall tank then getting past the lid ( i do not have any thing in the tank for them to climb up) also what is the chances of them serviving only three had feed on one pinki each the other three had not feed has yet?

No way can 4 lil babys eat 6 lil babys i think they most probly have escaped under your nose
HannahB Posted - 09/09/2009 : 14:51:52
are you sure they havent escaped or arent hiding under some substrate or something??
6 hatchlings couldnt have been eaten by the four left could they? even if they did regurge them..
id check to see if they havent escaped or something

I agree with GP, they will often regurge them, but it doesnt mean the "eaters" will die. If a hatchling has eaten another hatchling, its very very clear.

They should be kept indevidualy to avoid cannibalism.

Is there no chance at all they could have escaped??
gingerpony Posted - 08/09/2009 : 21:28:22
not strictly true Brookie, although they do usually regurge the snke they've just eaten.........

the 'eaten' snake is likely dead but the 'eating' snake just regurges

but they should all be kept individually to prevent this.......

nope

if they had eaten the other both corns would of died after eatin something too big
